The Maine coast offers year round coastwise activity and adventure. Nautilus Island is set preeminently on Penobscot Bay where it is an excellent setting for any of the following activities:

Nautilus has several pebble beaches where sea-glass and other shore side treasures can be found. Discover it all on a low-tide beach walk. You may even see seals.


There are groomed trails on Nautilus that offer quiet walks and relaxing Island vistas of Penobscot Bay. On the Island there is great bird watching, you may see shore birds like Loons, Black Guillemots, Osprey and Eagles. Also in the woods are Owls, Pileated Wood Peckers and many song birds.

Tennis, Pool and Spa

On Island after a few sets on the Har-Tru tennis court you can swim in the heated infinity edge pool or relax in the spa. The pool and spa have spectacular views of Penobscot Bay.
